One need not go to a business school to learn these skills, but developing them will help you to lay a strong foundation for your business.

Majority of entrepreneurs are driven by their idea and have deep knowledge of their product/service but lack knowledge of basic finances. They feel it's too complicated or are not willing to make an effort to know the financial part. But before you start your business, it's essential to learn how to read and understand Profit and Loss statements of your business. Your P&L will help you understand whether your business is profitable or not, what are your peak periods of profitability and also your major costs.
